Currently, Clarendale Six Corners is looking to expand its team by hiring a hospitality-focused Caregiver. This full-time or part-time opportunity offers flexible shifts, including 6:00am to 2:00pm, 2:00pm to 10:00pm, or overnight from 10:00pm to 6:00am. Starting at $20 per hour, this position offers a competitive hourly wage with a comprehensive benefits package. The role of a Caregiver at Clarendale Six Corners is multifaceted. Your core responsibilities will revolve around assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, all delivered with compassion and respect. You will monitor vital signs, provide incontinent and foot care, and document care activities accurately as per organizational policies. Additionally, you will respond promptly to call lights and emergencies, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents at all times. Beyond physical care, the position emphasizes engagement and hospitality; you will offer planned activities and maintain effective communication with residents, their families, nursing supervisors, and department heads to promote a cohesive care environment.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • one (1) year experience working as a CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred
  • one (1) year experience working in assisted living/memory care preferred

Job Duties

  • assist all residents with a high quality of personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy
  • assist residents with mealtime, cut food, encourage to eat
  • complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete report to nursing supervisor
  • communicate to residents, families, department heads and the director of resident services when needed
  • provide activities as planned and/or directed
  • respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner
