Job Description

NeuroRestorative, a proud member of the Sevita family, is a distinguished provider of rehabilitation services catering to individuals of all ages who face brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries, illnesses, and other related challenges. With a commitment to enhancing the quality of life, NeuroRestorative operates through various locations and community-based settings, offering an array of programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of its clients. These programs include vocational training, therapy sessions, day treatments, and specialized services dedicated to infants, children, adolescents, as well as Military Service Members and Veterans. By integrating compassionate care with innovative therapies, NeuroRestorative strives to empower its clients toward greater independence and improved well-being.

This caregiver role is a critical part of the NeuroRestorative team, providing vital support and companionship to clients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness throughout their daily activities. The position offers a starting pay of $16.25 per hour, with potential increases based on experience—an additional $0.50 per hour for 1 to 4 years of experience, and an additional $1.00 per hour for 5 or more years. Employment opportunities include both full-time and part-time roles, typically requiring the employee to work at least one day over the weekend.

As a caregiver, you will be entrusted with supporting clients in various personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, and meal preparation, along with light housekeeping duties. The role demands excellent communication skills, a caring disposition, and the physical ability to safely assist clients, including transportation to appointments using company vehicles and supporting wheelchair access. Orientation for new hires is conducted Tuesday through Friday during daytime hours to ensure comprehensive training and preparation for this rewarding role. Joining NeuroRestorative means becoming a part of a supportive, team-oriented environment committed to career growth, job security, and a meaningful, dynamic workday where every task contributes to making a real difference in people’s lives.

Sevita, the parent organization, is recognized nationally as a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care services. With over 50 years of dedicated mission work, Sevita enables individuals facing intellectual, physical, or behavioral challenges to lead fuller, more independent lives. Their team of 40,000 professionals delivers innovative supports and quality care to more than 50,000 individuals across the United States. NeuroRestorative benefits from this vast network's resources and expertise, ensuring top-quality services are available to all clients. As an equal opportunity employer, Sevita and NeuroRestorative embrace diversity and inclusion, ensuring fair employment practices without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, citizenship, or any other legally protected characteristic.
