We believe that every person has the right to live well, and every individual deserves a fulfilling career. Our organization is built on a foundation of compassion, respect, and a commitment to helping those we serve achieve their fullest potential. With over 50 years of experience and a team of 40,000 dedicated professionals, Sevita continues to innovate and enhance care for 50,000 individuals across the United States. Our services are designed to support growth, independence, and quality of life for people facing physical, intellectual, or behavioral challenges.

As part of the Sevita family, D&S Community Services is proud to offer a part-time caregiver position at our Goddard site located in Kyle, TX. This role includes weekend day shifts with a rate of pay of $10 per hour. No GED or high school diploma is required to apply, highlighting our commitment to providing opportunities for motivated individuals ready to build a meaningful career. Joining our team means becoming part of a mission-driven organization where your work directly impacts the lives of the people we serve.

As a caregiver at Sevita, you will find pride in the rewarding work of helping people grow, learn, and live well. This position is not just a job but an opportunity to develop meaningful, real relationships with individuals, making a positive difference every day. Caregivers at Sevita are given ownership and trust from leadership to do what’s right for the participants, supporting them in being active members of their communities and engaging in their favorite activities.

Your daily responsibilities will include assisting individuals with personal hygiene and supporting those who may have behavioral challenges and complex needs. Compassion, patience, and dedication are essential traits for success in this role. You will also support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, enhancing their independence and quality of life.

Sevita offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to support your well-being. Benefits include pay on demand, paid time off, holiday pay, and a full benefits package for full-time employees, which includes a 401(k) with a 3% company match. We also provide a strong network of support through supervisors who are deeply committed to both participants and employee well-being. Job security is a cornerstone at Sevita, providing a stable career in an established and growing company. We invest actively in your personal and professional development, offering the tools and training necessary to help you thrive in your career.

Ideal candidates for this role have six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination, although this is preferred and not required. Essential skills include strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management. The behaviors we value in our caregivers are patience, compassion, reliability, and responsibility. Additionally, a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Sevita is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, actively promoting equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, citizenship, or any other protected characteristic.
