The role of an In-Home Caregiver at CareLinx is focused on enhancing clients’ quality of life by supporting activities of daily living. Caregivers perform duties such as companionship, meal preparation, mobility assistance, bathing, grooming, dressing, medication reminders (non-clinical), and light housekeeping. They ensure that every client’s privacy, dignity, and safety are maintained in their home environment. The role also involves utilizing the CareLinx mobile app to accurately document care tasks, submit timesheets, and communicate any changes regarding the client’s condition or care needs to the CareLinx clinical team. This digital integration promotes transparency and continuity of care, while caregivers work closely with dedicated Care Partners who assist in matching caregivers to appropriate shifts and clients.

In addition to primary care duties, caregivers may have opportunities to provide additional support, such as transportation and errand assistance, hospital discharge escort services, and telehealth navigation to help clients connect with virtual doctor appointments. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience or relevant education/certification (CNA, HHA, MA, or equivalent)
  • Access to a smartphone capable of running the CareLinx app
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Reliable transportation to and from client homes
  • Must pass a background check
  • Completion of program-specific training prior to accepting shifts if applicable
  • Medical clearance such as TB test, physical exam, or drug screening as required
  • Valid driver's license and MVR check if accepting driving shifts
  • Additional documentation may be required based on state law or client contract

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including companionship, meal prep, mobility support, bathing/grooming/dressing, medication reminders (non-clinical), and light housekeeping
  • Complete and document all care tasks accurately in the CareLinx mobile app during each shift
  • Monitor and report changes in a client’s condition or self-care abilities to the CareLinx clinical team
  • Submit timesheets on time through the CareLinx app
  • Communicate with your Care Partner regarding any case updates or client changes
  • Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe and secure environment
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times
  • Provide transportation and errand support as needed
  • Escort clients safely after hospital discharge
  • Assist clients with telehealth navigation
