Job Requirements
- Ability to pass a background check, dmv check, and a drug screen
- Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work some weekends
- Availability for weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
- Minimum of one year caregiving experience preferred
- Residency or ability to provide care in specified locations including Anderson Island, Fox Island, Gig Harbor, Lakewood, Steilacoom, Tacoma, University Place, and Vashon Island
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of caregiving experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors and their families
- Demonstrated compassion and patience
- Basic knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s care
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check, DMV check, and drug screening
Job Duties
- Provide companionship and conversation to clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Offer medication and appointment reminders
- Assist with personal care including all activities of daily living
- Deliver specialized dementia and Alzheimer’s care
- Provide transportation to errands and appointments
- Perform nurse delegated services as required
