Acclaimed for its dedication to assisting individuals with severe mental health challenges, the organization operates an Enhanced Services Facility (ESF) that offers specialized behavioral supports and treatment services. This 16-bed facility is designed to provide compassionate care while promoting the clients’ independence and safety within the community. Sunrise Services prioritizes creating a supportive, team-driven environment aimed at fostering personal growth and recovery. Known for its strong commitment to community impact, the company not only offers care but also opportunities for professional advancement through comprehensive training programs, including paid training geared toward obtaining Health Care Assistant (HCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Joining Sunrise Services as a Caregiver means becoming a vital part of a team that makes a genuine difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. The Caregiver role within the Enhanced Services Facility focuses on providing essential daily living support to clients facing challenging behaviors due to severe mental health conditions. Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal grooming, shopping, housekeeping, and recreational activities, all delivered with patience, empathy, and professionalism. Ideal candidates are those who possess a caring and reliable nature, have good communication skills, and are knowledgeable in de-escalation techniques to handle potentially difficult situations effectively. The role requires compliance with safety and legal standards, such as passing a criminal background check and possessing a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
The position is available both full-time and part-time, with flexible scheduling options for part-time employees. Full-time schedules are Monday through Friday, 3pm to 11pm. The compensation ranges from $20.77 to $22.03 per hour, with wages based on experience, education, and certifications or licensure. Beyond competitive pay, Sunrise Services offers a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, holiday pay, and several other employee support programs such as Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA), life and AD&D insurance, and a 401K plan with matching contributions.
At Sunrise Services, employees experience a culture of support and opportunity. The organization fosters an environment where ongoing education and career growth are highly encouraged, ensuring that caregivers not only advance their skills but also have a meaningful impact in the community. The facility's supportive atmosphere, training opportunities, and comprehensive compensation make it an attractive workplace for individuals passionate about mental health care and community service. Moreover, Sunrise Services is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and complies with federal employment verification laws, reinforcing its commitment to fair and lawful hiring practices.
