With a mission centered on dignity and empowerment, Mentor Community Services believes that every person has the right to live well and achieve their fullest potential. The organization fosters an environment where employees feel motivated and inspired by meaningful work that makes a real difference in people’s lives. Being mission-driven means joining a team that is passionate about delivering compassionate care and creating inclusive opportunities where every individual can thrive. Sevita, the parent organization, is a nationally recognized leader in specialized health care, committed for over 50 years to supporting individuals through personalized, high-quality services that promote growth, independence, and community participation.

The role of Night Overnight Caregiver (NOC/Overnight) at Mentor Community Services offers a rewarding career path for individuals eager to make a positive impact on the lives of those with developmental and intellectual challenges. With a pay rate of $16.90 per hour, this position is perfect for compassionate, patient, and dependable caregivers who find deep satisfaction in helping others live meaningful lives. You will be an essential part of a dedicated team tasked with supporting individuals during overnight hours, ensuring their safety, well-being, and personal growth.

As a Caregiver at Sevita, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve assisting individuals with personal hygiene needs, providing support for behavioral challenges, and promoting development with goals that include budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role fosters meaningful relationships and encourages caregivers to take initiative in helping participants become active members of their communities by engaging in favorite activities and social connections. Supervisors at Sevita are deeply committed to supporting both you and the individuals you serve, offering trust and autonomy to do what is right for participants.

Working overnight requires reliability and a solution-oriented mindset, as many of the individuals served may have complex needs that call for patience and adaptive communication skills. The organization believes in investing in your growth by providing ongoing training and development tools to empower your career. Additionally, the position offers stability within a growing, established company, ensuring job security and a network of support that values your contributions.

Sevita values equity and inclusion, proudly standing as an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on any legally protected basis. Joining Mentor Community Services means becoming part of a vibrant culture centered on respect, support, and excellence in care.
