The Care Team Manager role at Beacon Specialized Living is a vital leadership position within one of the organization’s residential homes. This position involves comprehensive oversight of daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations, and fostering a positive environment where both staff and residents thrive. The Care Team Manager leads the recruitment, training, coaching, and supervision of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), maintaining staffing schedules and supporting employee development. Additionally, the role ensures the physical safety and maintenance of the home by coordinating repairs and working alongside maintenance teams and contractors. Collaboration with clinical leadership is essential to support the health, safety, and well-being of the residents, and promoting a person-centered approach that encourages independence and community engagement is a core responsibility. The manager also maintains effective communication with guardians, medical providers, regulatory agencies, and interdisciplinary teams, attending meetings and community activities as needed. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate's degree or college coursework in Business, Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- 2-3 years of leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred
- 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass all required background checks and work within Beacon Specialized Living programs
- Ability to maintain required certifications, trainings, and TB screenings where applicable
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and state regulatory requirements
- Oversee the daily operations of the assigned group home, including financial, operational, and quality goals
- Recruit, train, coach, and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
- Maintain staffing schedules and support employee development and accountability
- Ensure the home remains safe, clean, and well-maintained by coordinating repairs and maintenance
- Partner with maintenance teams and approved contractors to resolve facility concerns
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to support the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals served
- Promote person-centered care while encouraging independence and community involvement
- Maintain communication with guardians, medical providers, regulatory agencies, and interdisciplinary teams
- Attend individual meetings, appointments, and community activities as needed
- Monitor documentation, medication administration, and program compliance
