Within this role as a Preventative Maintenance Associate, you will be entrusted with maintaining the impeccable condition of guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas, ensuring every aspect of the environment meets the brand’s exacting standards. This position involves executing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks such as flipping or inspecting mattresses and box springs, assembling bed frames, vacuuming in hard-to-reach places, and performing spot cleaning of carpets and upholstery. You will also be responsible for dusting, touch-up painting, furniture maintenance, replacing light fixtures, and inspecting and repairing grout and caulking, all designed to enhance guest comfort and property aesthetics.

In addition to maintenance duties, you will handle minor repairs, including tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. Cleaning responsibilities encompass the thorough cleaning of tubs, wall tiles, floors, windows, and mirrors within guest rooms to maintain the highest hygiene standards. Immediate reporting of any serious maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual findings to management is essential to uphold safety and functionality throughout the hotel. This position requires adherence to all company safety and security procedures, participation in safety training, and compliance with appearance and confidentiality standards.
