Job Description
Sunrise Senior Living is a distinguished provider of senior care and assisted living services, renowned for its commitment to enhancing the quality of life for older adults. With a strong emphasis on creating warm and supportive communities, Sunrise offers residents a comfortable and engaging environment where they can live longer, healthier, and happier lives. Recognized as a Great Place to Work® for the ninth time by Activated Insights, Sunrise Senior Living exemplifies a workplace culture that values respect, dedication, and teamwork. This recognition highlights the company's success in fostering a fulfilling and positive atmosphere for both its residents and employees.
Sunrise of Issaquah, part of the Sunrise Senior Living family, is currently seeking compassionate Care Partners to join their Terrace Club neighborhood team. The role of Care Partner is vital in delivering personalized and high-quality care to a dedicated group of residents, focusing on fulfilling their physical, emotional, and social needs as outlined in each resident's Individualized Service Plan (ISP). Care Partners play an essential role in promoting residents’ independence and wellbeing by offering hands-on support, encouragement, and companionship in a safe and home-like environment.
This position is more than a job—it is a meaningful opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of seniors and their families. Care Partners at Sunrise are responsible for fostering trusting relationships and providing attentive assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, hygiene, and safety. They also contribute actively to activities and programs designed to stimulate residents’ interests and skills, enhancing their quality of life. The role demands effective communication, observation skills, and the ability to respond promptly to residents’ needs and emergencies.
Sunrise places a strong focus on teamwork and continuous improvement. As a Care Partner, you will engage in team meetings and training sessions to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and community policies. Safety, risk management, and infection control are core to the responsibilities, ensuring that both residents and staff are protected in all situations through adherence to best practices.
In addition to caregiving duties, this role encompasses housekeeping, laundry, and dining service support within the community. These tasks are essential in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and hospitable environment that respects each resident’s dignity and privacy. The position requires a compassionate, patient, and perceptive individual who can handle multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive demeanor.
Sunrise Senior Living offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans, retirement savings, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts—all of which contribute to a comprehensive support system for employees. With opportunities for career growth and development, Sunrise encourages team members to pursue their passions and shine in their roles.
Joining Sunrise of Issaquah means becoming a part of a certified Great Place to Work® and making a difference every day while experiencing the fulfillment that comes from serving seniors with compassion and respect.
