Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior living services dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults. As a company, Sunrise Senior Living champions an environment where meaningful work is rooted in purpose, and team members are passionate about improving the lives of residents every day. With a commitment to compassionate care and individualized support, they provide a vibrant community where seniors can thrive with dignity and independence. The company operates assisted living, memory care, and other senior care services, making it a trusted name in the industry. Sunrise Senior Living is recognized as a certified Great Place to Work, highlighting its focus on creating an inclusive, supportive workplace culture that values diversity, promotes employee growth, and encourages a genuine sense of belonging.

The role of Caregiver at Sunrise Senior Living is an essential position that embodies the heart of the company’s mission to improve seniors’ everyday experiences. As a Caregiver, you will deliver hands-on support and build meaningful relationships that brighten each resident’s day. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, while following individualized service plans (ISP) and accurately documenting any changes in residents’ conditions. Safety, dignity, and independence are core values emphasized throughout this role, and you will be empowered to promote these by engaging residents through conversation and daily activities.

In Memory Care settings, you will have the opportunity to create enriching experiences specifically tailored for residents with memory loss, ensuring their comfort and engagement. Additionally, Caregivers support dining services and help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors. Effective communication with families and care leaders is an integral part of the role to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care delivery.

Sunrise Senior Living offers a competitive pay range for this position, between $16.30 to $20.40 per hour, reflecting the company’s recognition of the important contributions Caregivers make every day. The organization is also committed to supporting team members’ growth and development by providing paid training and career advancement opportunities. The benefits package is comprehensive, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans, retirement savings options, employee assistance programs, and tuition reimbursement. Paid time off, sick time, holiday pay, and flexible pay options such as myFlexPay, which allows employees to get paid within hours of a shift, further enhance the overall employee experience.

Choosing a career at Sunrise Senior Living means joining a company that celebrates the unique moments of togetherness and joy you bring to the lives you touch. It’s not just a job, but a fulfilling career path where you can make a tangible difference in the lives of seniors while supporting your personal and professional goals.
