Job Description

Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior care services across the United States, well-known for its compassionate and personalized approach to elder care. The company is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of its residents by creating a warm, supportive, and engaging community. Sunrise Senior Living operates a wide range of communities, including assisted living and memory care, designed to meet the diverse needs of seniors. With a commitment to excellence and respect, Sunrise fosters an environment that promotes dignity, independence, and meaningful interactions among residents and staff alike.

The role of a Caregiver at Sunrise Senior Living is central to the company’s mission of making a positive difference in the lives of seniors. Caregivers provide essential hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care. They diligently follow Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and document any changes in residents’ conditions to ensure continuity of care. Beyond practical support, caregivers play a vital role in promoting safety, dignity, and independence for residents while engaging them through conversation and daily activities that enrich their day. In specialized memory care settings, caregivers create tailored experiences that support residents living with memory loss, ensuring that their emotional and physical needs are met in a compassionate manner.

Sunrise Senior Living offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about elder care and want to build a meaningful career. This is a full-time employment position with a competitive pay range of $20.40 to $25.60 per hour, complemented by paid training and ample career growth opportunities. The company values reliability, compassion, and strong communication skills in its caregivers, and encourages a supportive team environment that recognizes and celebrates the unique contributions of every employee. As part of the Sunrise community, caregivers receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans, retirement savings plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and access to employee assistance and discount programs. Additional perks such as myFlexPay allow team members to receive pay within hours of their shifts, and discretionary bonuses provide further financial incentives.

Choosing to work at Sunrise Senior Living means joining a certified Great Place to Work where diversity and inclusion are prioritized. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a welcoming workplace for all employees. If you are ready to take the next step in your caregiving career and make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors, this opportunity at Sunrise Senior Living offers stable employment, competitive compensation, and a chance to grow your talents in a fulfilling and supportive environment.
