Located in the vibrant district of South Lake Union, Seattle, RET Physical Therapy Specialists has earned a solid reputation for quality care and commitment to the well-being of its patients. The clinic balances innovative therapy techniques with compassionate treatment, ensuring that individuals of all ages receive personalized care plans tailored to their unique needs. This establishment represents a dynamic workplace environment where professionalism meets a passion for health improvement through physical therapy services.
We are currently seeking a part-time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our South Lake Union team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the smooth operation of the clinic's front desk and enhancing patient experience from the moment they enter the facility. Offering approximately 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling from Monday through Friday, the position provides an hourly pay range between 19 and 23 dollars. This role is ideal for individuals looking to contribute to healthcare access and patient satisfaction in a supportive and professional setting.
The Front Desk Medical Receptionist will be responsible for managing all aspects of front desk operations. This includes greeting patients, handling patient check-in and check-out processes, scheduling appointments, and coordinating referrals. A vital function of this role involves verifying insurance coverage, processing prior authorizations, and collecting payments to ensure accurate billing practices and clear financial communications with patients. The receptionist will also maintain precise patient records through registration of new patients and updating existing patient information within the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Effective communication skills are essential as the receptionist answers phone inquiries, handles patient questions, and provides courteous and professional assistance, always adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
This role is ideally suited for someone with basic office skills, excellent customer service capabilities, and a keen attention to detail. Prior experience in a similar healthcare administrative or reception role is desirable but not mandatory, offering opportunities for motivated candidates to grow their skills in a rewarding healthcare environment. The position emphasizes a welcoming atmosphere, professionalism, and the importance of daily interactions that significantly impact the patient journey. As part of Confluent Health, we are proud to promote a workplace culture that values diversity and equal opportunity inclusive of all protected classes. Candidates seeking reasonable accommodations to perform job functions are encouraged to reach out to the human resources team.
