Job Description
TexPTS is a leading provider in physical therapy services, dedicated to fostering a supportive and empowering environment for its employees. Known for valuing autonomy and listening closely to its staff, TexPTS has built a reputation as a workplace where team members are trusted rather than micromanaged. This approach creates a positive and engaging atmosphere that facilitates both personal and professional growth. As a company focused on delivering high-quality patient care, TexPTS ensures that its employees have the resources, training, and support needed to excel in their roles.
TexPTS is currently hiring a full-time Front Desk Coordinator to join their team. This position offers a competitive hourly wage between $16 and $18, with work hours scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7am to 4pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 7pm. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the clinic, serving as the first point of contact for patients and providing vital administrative support. The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for managing patient check-ins and check-outs, scheduling appointments, and handling referral coordination. Additionally, this role involves verifying insurance coverage, processing authorizations, and collecting payments to facilitate accurate billing and ensure seamless patient access to services.
To support employee success, TexPTS and its partner, Confluent Health, offer structured training, hands-on learning experiences, and ongoing mentorship. This commitment to professional development allows employees to continually enhance their skills and advance their careers within the organization. TexPTS also prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion, striving to create a welcoming workplace culture. Employees benefit from a generous paid time off policy and industry-leading medical, dental, vision, and long-term disability insurance plans. Furthermore, the company offers a 401(k) employer matching program and family building and parental benefits. It's important to note that part-time and PRN employees are eligible to participate only in the 401(k) benefit.
The prospective candidate for this position should be proficient in handling front desk operations efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards. The role requires meticulous attention to detail when maintaining patient records through the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, including registering new patients and keeping their information up to date. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the Front Desk Coordinator will be the first point of contact via phone or in person, providing assistance while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and fostering a professional and welcoming healthcare environment.
This opportunity is well-suited for individuals with a high school diploma or GED and a foundational knowledge of office and customer service skills. Previous experience in a medical office setting is highly desired but not mandatory, as comprehensive training is provided. Working at TexPTS means joining a dynamic and supportive team that values your contributions and helps you grow your career in the healthcare industry.
