As part of a larger network under Mars Veterinary Health, VCA has built a reputation for utilizing the latest veterinary practices and technology to provide compassionate and comprehensive care for animals. The hospital itself is designed with a client-centric philosophy, offering a welcoming, spa-like atmosphere that significantly reduces stress for pets and their owners during urgent medical visits. The environment combines comfort with efficiency, including a virtual waiting room system that allows pet owners to wait at home until notified, minimizing in-person wait times and enhancing the experience for everyone involved.
This position is for a full-time Veterinary Care Concierge at the VCA Urgent Care Animal Hospital in Salt Lake City. Responsibilities also extend to assisting in the discharge process, providing medication instructions, and following up with clients to ensure continued care and satisfaction. This role is vital in delivering an extraordinary client experience by bridging the gap between urgent medical needs and compassionate support, all while working in a fast-paced healthcare setting that operates seven days a week during extended hours. The Work schedule includes four 10-hour shifts with mandatory weekend availability. Compensation ranges from $15 to $19 per hour, negotiable based on experience and credentials. Benefits for full-time associates include paid time off, medical coverage, mental health resources, pet care discounts, and retirement plans, emphasizing VCA’s dedication to employee well-being and professional development.
