Delaware North Sportservice is a well-established hospitality company operating concessions, premium dining, retail, and restaurants at Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals since 1953. Currently, Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Line Cooks to join their team at Busch Stadium in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role offers an hourly pay of $16.25 and involves working in a fast-paced, exciting atmosphere that keeps you engaged throughout your shift. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing various dishes according to specified recipes and the chef's directions, ensuring high-quality and consistent food production. Duties include opening and closing kitchen stations, setting up and operating kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations, and following sanitation protocols. The role demands close attention to detail, the ability to understand recipes and food abbreviations, and the capacity to perform basic math to follow ingredient measurements reliably.
This position is physically demanding; it involves constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions, in addition to lifting up to 20 pounds. The environment requires adaptability to variable temperatures and the ability to rapidly coordinate multiple food orders simultaneously. Shift schedules include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special event days, providing a varied and engaging work schedule.
