The medical center is part of PeaceHealth, a respected healthcare system known for its dedication to quality, safety, and inclusivity. With a strong emphasis on teamwork, innovation, and compassionate care, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend fosters a supportive and collaborative environment where healthcare professionals can thrive and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. This medical center serves one of Oregon's most beautiful regions, the Southern Willamette Valley, offering employees not only outstanding professional opportunities but also a high quality of life with access to natural beauty, including hiking trails, rivers, wineries, and the Oregon Coast.

Join the cardiovascular imaging team at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center as a per diem Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiographer. This role offers a unique blend of professional growth and flexible work arrangements, ideal for those seeking freedom in scheduling without sacrificing teamwork or the impact of their work. As a per diem employee, you have the flexibility to build a schedule that suits your lifestyle, allowing you to maintain clinical proficiency while enjoying the benefits of per diem work. The position will primarily focus on performing cardiac ultrasound examinations and related echocardiographic procedures to support life-changing patient care. You will be part of a collaborative imaging team that values your expertise and ensures you are supported in delivering high-quality cardiac imaging.

The position requires certification as an RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) and appropriate licensure from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging. The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $47.24 to $70.56 per hour, with an additional 15 percent differential in lieu of benefits. Although benefits such as health insurance are not included due to the per diem status, the medical center provides an enriching work culture that appreciates per diem staff and provides opportunities for professional development and ongoing skill refinement.

Working at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend means you will contribute to a healthcare system that prioritizes inclusivity and cultural humility. You will be supported by a team that celebrates each other’s successes and collaborates during busy periods, enhancing your work experience and job satisfaction. The role involves a day shift with 10-hour shifts and requires physical activity including standing, walking, operating medical equipment, occasional lifting, and patient handling, demanding a high level of professionalism and effective communication skills.

This opportunity is perfect for a Cardiac Sonographer who values flexibility, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment while living and working in a picturesque area. PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center is proud to offer a beneficial work culture alongside the ability to enjoy life outside of work in the beautiful Southern Willamette Valley, making this role a perfect balance between career and lifestyle.
