The current opportunity is for an experienced Echocardiography (ECHO) Technologist at Banner North Colorado Medical Center. This role is primarily day-shift based, operating Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with the expectation of weekend call to provide consistent and quality cardiac imaging services. The position is designed for candidates with a deep understanding of cardiac ultrasound procedures and technology, offering echo services for both inpatients and outpatients. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of recent ECHO experience, certifications such as ARDMS, RDCS, CCI, or RCS, and must hold valid BLS and ACLS certifications.

As an Echocardiography Technologist, you will be integral to the diagnostic team, providing critical imaging that assists cardiologists and cardiac surgeons in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions. Your work involves performing specialized ultrasound procedures, ensuring quality imaging, and adhering to established protocols and accreditation standards, such as those set by the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) or the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). You will play a pivotal role in maintaining workflow efficiency, educating patients and families regarding procedures, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, and upholding ethical and professional standards in the practice.

This role not only requires technical expertise but also effective communication skills, as you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and potentially train new staff and students in sonographic techniques.
