Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Since its founding in 2015, OVG has grown rapidly to become a powerhouse in venue development, venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. The company operates a diverse platform supporting some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. With ownership of seven world-class venues and partnerships with a broad client roster, OVG has set itself apart as an innovator and leader in the live entertainment industry. The company is committed to excellence and to creating memorable experiences for fans and members worldwide.

The role of Captain at OVG is central to achieving the company's mission to deliver top-tier hospitality and event services. As a key member of the food and beverage department, the Captain supports the Food and Beverage Director in managing day-to-day operations across a range of service settings, including casual dining, fine dining, private events, and bartending. This role is dynamic and requires the ability to coordinate with multiple departments—including the member experience director, event sales director, and event host—to ensure seamless event execution that exceeds member and guest expectations. The Captain is responsible for maintaining a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency during both day and night shifts, particularly on home game weekends, which are mandatory.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $6.00 to $8.00, plus tips, making it an attractive opportunity for candidates who are passionate about hospitality and thrive in fast-paced environments. The Captain will also benefit from part-time employee perks such as participation in a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions, highlighting OVG's commitment to employee well-being and financial security.

OVG fosters an inclusive culture that values diversity and encourages team members to bring their unique perspectives to the workplace. The company believes that inclusivity drives innovation and excellence, enhancing the quality of service provided. This role is perfect for professionals who have a proven track record of teamwork, leadership, and commitment to superior customer experiences. The Captain will be instrumental in training, managing, and motivating staff, ensuring a positive and engaging atmosphere throughout the venue. Responsibilities also include managing floor operations, supporting servers, bartenders, and food runners, and ensuring that opening and closing duties are diligently completed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to grow their careers in the hospitality and live entertainment sectors while working for a top-tier organization dedicated to pushing the boundaries in live event experiences. The position remains open until July 31, 2026, offering plenty of time for interested candidates to apply and join an elite team that is united to make a difference through diversity and excellence.
