In this role, the Capacity Planner/Scheduler plays a critical function in aligning resources with operational demands by providing accurate staffing forecasts, hangar plans, and coordinating department activities. They maintain seamless communication with management, Sales, Operations teams, and external vendors to ensure service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Job Duties

  • Adhere to Bombardier general work requirements
  • Provide capacity planning/scheduling functions for the repair station, including staffing forecasts and hangar plans
  • Interface with management in support of the RFP process
  • Coordinate department activities for proper integration with data processing, planning, and production control
  • Provide guidance and monitor progress on major systems projects
  • Oversee, develop, and coordinate readiness plans for new customers
  • Schedule aircraft operators into the service center for maintenance, modifications, and compliance
  • Coordinate outside services with vendors to ensure downtime allows requested work
  • Maintain current knowledge of quality inspection requirements affecting work scope
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations to balance resource and hangar utilization
  • Maintain and communicate S&OP data for the BAS network
  • Ensure effective daily communication with General Manager, Operations manager, and Project Managers
  • Stay updated on aircraft work to consider schedule changes
  • Review proposals to ensure quality gates are met
