We are currently seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team, a pivotal leadership role in ensuring our hotel operates efficiently and maintains exceptional service standards. This position is overtime eligible, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry where additional hours may be required and are compensated accordingly. The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple departments, driving hotel profitability, supporting the General Manager, and fostering a positive work environment. Job Requirements
- At least five years of progressive hotel experience
- A four-year degree with 2-3 years experience or a two-year degree with 3-4 years related experience
- Supervisory background required
- Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure
- Must hold or obtain certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid
Job Qualifications

- Supervisory background with proven leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems
- Ability to maintain professional standards in appearance and grooming
Job Duties
- Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and working closely with General Manager
- Proactively identify and resolve challenges to ensure efficient daily hotel operations
- Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff, and support personal and professional growth of managers and hourly employees
- Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues and guests to enhance experience
- Manage financial data and hotel operations using Windows Operating Systems
- Ensure adherence to company grooming and appearance standards
- Deliver friendly, service-focused interactions that delight guests and teammates
