The Chicago School is currently seeking a Full Time Campus Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations and events on its Los Angeles campus. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth functioning of campus facilities, systems, and processes that benefit faculty, staff, and students. The position reports directly to the Campus Manager and requires flexible scheduling, including availability for evening and weekend shifts based on campus needs. The Campus Operations Coordinator is responsible for a variety of operational tasks including managing administrative duties, overseeing facility readiness, coordinating campus events, and providing frontline customer service. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and efficient campus environment.

The Campus Operations Coordinator provides general administrative assistance to campus operations leadership, manages communications through the campus operations inbox, and responds to requests from the campus community. They perform daily opening and closing routines to ensure building readiness and safety, support scheduling and information management related to facilities usage, and handle incoming and outgoing deliveries with proper documentation and distribution. The role also assists with reception desk duties, creates and updates ID cards, supports on-site vendors and contractors, and collaborates with various campus departments to ensure coordinated service delivery. Maintaining a visible presence throughout the campus to monitor activity and report campus conditions is key to effective risk mitigation and operational improvement.

Additionally, this role supports event logistics on campus, provides onboarding and training for student workers, assists with office moves and furniture reconfigurations, monitors supply inventories, performs minor maintenance tasks, and manages work orders for facilities needs. Emergency preparedness is another important aspect, as the Coordinator must be trained in emergency operations policies and capable of executing response plans when necessary. Overall, this position requires a proactive, solution-oriented approach to supporting campus operations and creating a positive experience for all campus stakeholders.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.64 to $25.64, with additional compensation factors influencing total earnings.   • 1+ years of administrative experience in an office environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and database management software
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
  • Availability to work evening and weekend hours

Job Duties

  • Support the reception desk as needed
  • Create and update ID cards for faculty, staff, and students
