The role of Campus Hospitality Meetings & Events Specialist at Unum is a pivotal position within the Facilities team, centered on delivering seamless, well-organized, and people-focused meeting and event experiences across the company’s campuses. This position provides hands-on coordination, scheduling, and operational support to ensure employees can connect and collaborate effectively. The specialist will play a key role in enhancing the campus experience through creative, outside-the-box thinking and fresh ideas that elevate Unum’s campus hospitality strategy and employee engagement. Responsibilities include managing meeting and event reservations using campus booking platforms, serving as the primary point of contact for scheduling support and troubleshooting, and monitoring booking systems to ensure accuracy, availability, and space utilization. The role involves escalating scheduling conflicts and service issues, supporting maintenance and continuous improvement of meeting and event systems, and assisting with implementation and documentation of hospitality tools and processes. Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for logistical coordination for onsite meetings, employee programs, and campus events, including event setup, execution, and day-of onsite coordination. Partnering with service providers for catering, room setup, and AV needs is also a key element of the job. The specialist will identify operational challenges, recommend improvements, gather feedback to enhance experiences, and support tracking and reporting to improve service consistency. This dynamic role requires adaptability to evolving tools, processes, and business needs, and contributes to continuous improvement and innovation in campus hospitality services. The salary range is $45,600 to $86,200, with actual pay based on skill, geographical location, and experience. Job Duties

- Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling support, guidance, and troubleshooting
- Monitor booking systems to ensure accuracy, availability, and effective space utilization
- Escalate scheduling conflicts, service issues, and system outages as appropriate
- Support administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of meeting and event systems
- Assist with implementation, testing, and documentation of hospitality tools and processes
- Contribute to a streamlined, one-stop-shop meeting and event experience
- Provide logistical coordination for onsite meetings, employee programs, and campus events
- Support event setup, execution, and day-of onsite coordination
- Partner with service providers for catering, room setup, and AV needs
- Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements
- Gather feedback and identify trends to enhance meeting and event experiences
- Support basic tracking and reporting to improve service delivery and consistency
- Occasional support outside standard business hours for events
- Deliver a high-quality, service-oriented experience for all campus meetings and events
