The role of Campus Executive Chef at California State University San Marcos is a pivotal position within Sodexo's culinary leadership team. This executive role involves managing multi-site catering and residential dining operations at the campus, where the chef is responsible for the seamless execution of menus through supervision and mentoring of the culinary team. Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum three years of management experience
- minimum three years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- strong organizational and communication skills

- ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
