The Cook position is an integral part of Genuine Foods' production kitchen team, responsible for preparing and serving food according to daily menus and recipe standards. This full-time role, scheduled from 6:00am to 3:00pm, ensures that food safety standards are continuously met, all food preparation is accurate, and timely service is coordinated within the team. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience working as a line cook or in a similar culinary role
- Ability to work full-time from 6:00am to 3:00pm
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment
- Physical ability to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards
- Must be able to work in a school environment
Job Qualifications
- Must be flexible and team-oriented
- At least 1 year of line cook or culinary experience
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and level-headedness
- Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy
- Ability to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs

- Must be able to work in a school environment
Job Duties
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times
- Cook and prep food accurately based on recipes and specifications provided by the Chef/Genuine Foods
- Coordinate with team members to ensure all food is prepared on time for service
- Maintain a clean working environment and assist the team with additional cleaning duties
- Keep area stocked and organized
- Perform any additional duties as assigned
