The role of Campus Associate Director Nursing for the ADN Program at ACC’s Richardson campus offers a unique leadership opportunity for an experienced nursing education professional. This full-time position involves managing and implementing a comprehensive post-secondary nursing program that equips students to succeed in their nursing careers. The Associate Director will oversee critical aspects of program administration including budget preparation and fiscal management, curriculum development, faculty supervision and evaluation, and clinical facility coordination. The position requires an individual who can provide professional leadership and mentorship to nursing faculty while fostering a creative and responsive academic environment conducive to student success. The Associate Director will also engage in teaching responsibilities and facilitate student strategies aimed at passing licensure and certification examinations.

Job Requirements
- a minimum of a master’s degree
- current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Texas
- current CPR card
- American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- at least two years’ teaching experience in nursing programs
- at least one year continuous full-time or equivalent direct patient care nursing experience
- ability to provide leadership and mentorship to faculty
- experience coordinating curriculum and clinical facilities
- excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited academic institution including coursework in nursing, education or administration
- current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Texas
- current CPR card
- American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- two years’ experience teaching in pre- or post-licensure registered nursing programs
- one year’s continuous full-time or equivalent experience in direct patient care as a registered nurse or equivalent experience and/or education as determined by the board
