Four Seasons is a globally renowned luxury hospitality company that prides itself on delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences to guests worldwide. Powered by a passionate and dedicated team, Four Seasons is known for embracing a culture where every individual is motivated to reach new heights, collaborate with empathy, and foster a thriving workplace environment. The company's commitment to luxury with genuine heart is what sets it apart, as its employees collectively aim to create lifelong impressions for guests, residents, and partners alike. At Four Seasons, the emphasis is on mutual respect and recognizing the value of every team member, guest, and partner, driven by the belief that life is more enriching when we connect meaningfully with the people and environments around us.
The Four Seasons Napa Valley resort embodies the epitome of wine country luxury, situated in the food and wine capital of North America. This Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star resort offers guests a one-of-a-kind experience nestled within a world-renowned vineyard. From innovative, seasonal dining at the Michelin-starred restaurant Auro to holistic spa rituals at Spa Talisa, the resort delivers personalized and thoughtful service that reflects the Four Seasons tradition. The location’s breathtaking views of Napa Valley and the unique integration of culinary artistry and luxurious relaxation make it a distinguished destination for discerning guests.
We are currently seeking an intermediate-level culinary professional to join our CAMPO Pool Restaurant and Banquet team as a Cook 2. This position requires a skilled cook who will prepare all food items according to guest orders and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation in the kitchen. The role involves working alongside dynamic culinary management to ensure that every dish adheres to Four Seasons’ prestige quality standards.
As a Cook 2, responsibilities include preparing consistent and high-quality food and pastry items by following detailed recipes, production standards, and portion controls. You will be responsible for mise en place and station setup for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services while managing food preparation based on estimated needs to minimize waste. Proper operation, maintenance, and cleaning of various kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, broilers, stoves, steamers, mixers, slicers, ovens, steam tables, tilt kettles, waffle irons, and flat top grills are critical aspects of this position.
This role acts as an essential bridge between the line staff and kitchen management, ensuring smooth communication and that operational standards set by the Resort Culinary Management are consistently met. Food safety procedures such as proper dating, rotating, and storage of perishables are key to maintaining compliance with health regulations. You will also assist with shift prep work to support continuous high-volume production demands.
The ideal candidate will bring a high school education or culinary school background, with at least two years of experience in restaurant or hotel restaurant kitchens. Advanced knife skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and operational knowledge of various kitchen equipment are essential. This full-time role offers an hourly wage of $28.42 and benefits including Cigna medical and dental options, complimentary accommodation at other Four Seasons locations, employee meals, and 401k retirement plans. Flexibility in scheduling is required to support 24/7 operational needs, with shifts spanning early morning, midday, and evening hours.
Four Seasons offers a workplace culture that values diversity, equal opportunity, and inclusivity. They strive to accommodate individuals with disabilities and encourage minorities, women, veterans, and disabled individuals to apply. Working at Four Seasons Napa Valley means being part of a prestigious brand that merges world-class hospitality with authentic guest connections amid the splendor of wine country.
