The Barista position at Los Poblanos Campo is a critical role within the beverage service team, responsible for orchestrating the food and beverage experience for guests at the bar. This part-time, non-exempt position reports to the Campo Assistant Manager and demands a high standard of quality and consistency in drink preparation, including coffee, craft cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits. The role involves not only mixing and serving beverages but also handling cash transactions, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring compliance with all local, national, and federal laws regarding alcohol service. A successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of coffee drinks, classic cocktail recipes, and beverage production, supported by 3-5 years of barista experience in a fine dining establishment with a wide selection of wine and beer. The ideal individual demonstrates energy, enthusiasm, professionalism, and problem-solving skills while thriving in a high-activity, service-oriented environment. Physical stamina is also essential, as the role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, reach, walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds intermittently.
