Job Description

Carowinds is a premier amusement park and campground located on the border of North and South Carolina, known for providing guests with thrilling rides, entertainment, and memorable experiences. The park blends fun and adventure with excellent customer service, making it a favored destination for families, thrill-seekers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Carowinds offers a vibrant work environment filled with energy and excitement where associates play a key role in creating enjoyable and safe experiences for visitors. The campgrounds at Carowinds provide a unique outdoor lodging experience with cabins that emphasize comfort and cleanliness for guests seeking to extend their visit beyond the park's daily hours. The park is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace, offering flexible part-time roles suitable for students, retirees, or anyone looking for a rewarding opportunity to grow professionally and personally.

The Cabin Cleaner position at Carowinds is a vital role responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all campground lodging facilities. Working at a rate of $15 per hour, this position focuses on ensuring that each cabin and common area at the campground is spotless and welcoming. The role involves careful attention to detail, from making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping, to handling guest amenities and linen replacements. Adhering to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and cleaning chemicals as per safety data sheets, is a critical component of this role. This position also includes maintaining public areas such as hallways, pools, lobbies, and outdoor walkways to create a pleasant environment throughout the campground.

In addition to cleaning duties, the Cabin Cleaner plays a supportive role in guest services by responding to guest requests, reporting maintenance issues promptly, and managing lost and found items effectively. Another unique aspect of this job includes driving the campground tram, offering an engaging way to assist guests with mobility around the campground. This multifaceted role requires someone who is dependable, friendly, and enthusiastic about supporting guests and team members alike.

Carowinds not only values the hard work of their associates but also recognizes their contributions by providing fantastic perks such as free admission to Carowinds and other parks, complimentary tickets for friends and family, discounts on food and merchandise, and access to exclusive associate-only events. Career development opportunities abound, with Carowinds promoting skill-building through training programs and hands-on experience. The company encourages applicants who are 18 years or older and are looking for a fun, part-time job with convenient scheduling, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, enjoy a dynamic work environment, and want to be part of a team dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences.
