The role available at Carowinds is that of a Campground Cabin Cleaner and Maintenance Associate. This position is vital to ensuring the cabins at the campground are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for guests. In this role, daily responsibilities include cleaning the cabins thoroughly by making beds, cleaning bathroom fixtures, emptying trash, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and restocking guest amenities. The associate also ensures that all public areas within the campground, such as hallways, pool areas, stairways, and outdoor walkways, are maintained and presentable. Safety protocols must be followed strictly when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment, using personal protective equipment as necessary. Additionally, the role includes operating the campground tram, assisting guests with inquiries, reporting maintenance issues, and managing lost and found items.

Job Duties

  • clean and maintain campground cabins daily including making beds cleaning bathroom fixtures removing dirty linen replacing guest amenities dusting vacuuming emptying trash mopping floors
  • clean and maintain all assigned public areas including hallways pool area stairways public bathrooms lobby elevators vending machines outdoor walkways
  • work with chemicals and cleaning equipment following all safety guidelines and using personal protective equipment
  • respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly providing excellent customer service
  • report maintenance issues and collect label lost and found items
  • drive the campground tram to assist guest transportation
  • complete daily guest-room task assignments as directed by team leaders
