Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years old by the start of camp
  • Prior experience working in an office with strong phone skills required
  • Interest in working with children
  • A driver’s license is highly preferred
  • Interested in working and living in the outdoors for the summer
  • Emotionally mature with a willingness to work as a team player
  • Flexible and willing to accept challenges and step outside your comfort zone
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude
  • Available for the entire duration of the summer program

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of college or equivalent is preferred
  • Prior experience working in an office with strong phone skills required
  • Bilingual language skills are a plus
  • Interest in working with children
  • Emotionally mature with a willingness to work as a team player
  • Flexible and willing to accept challenges and step outside your comfort zone
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude
  • Available for the entire duration of the summer program

Job Duties

  • Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures, sorting mail and correspondence, managing filing systems, and overseeing supply requisitions
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing information and assistance to parents, camp staff, and other callers
  • Reconcile camper, cabin, and bus lists in the camp’s online database each session to ensure accuracy
  • Relay important updates and communications to the Camp Director and administrative team promptly
  • Manage the call-back system to ensure timely and effective communication between administrative staff and parents
  • Prepare and organize paperwork for camper arrival and departure days
  • Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure completion of orders, requisition of supplies, and any other required paperwork/forms
