We are currently seeking a full-time Call Center Receptionist to join our East Lansing office team. This role is vital in supporting our patients throughout their care journey by serving as the first point of contact and guiding them through scheduling, check-ins, insurance verification, and referrals. The Call Center Receptionist will be responsible for answering phone inquiries, directing calls to the appropriate personnel, and assisting with triage communications when needed. This position operates during a general 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday with no nights or weekends, providing a balanced work schedule conducive to work-life harmony.

The successful candidate will have a background in customer service or healthcare support, though Pinnacle GI Partners offers training to ensure you are well-prepared to excel in this role. The starting wage is $17 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to fair compensation alongside opportunities for professional growth. Your duties will include checking patients in and out, managing demographic and insurance information with precision, scheduling new appointments, coordinating referrals through insurance and physician offices, and providing seamless communication via phone and in-person interactions. Job Requirements

  • Completion of high school or a GED program
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • Prior medical office experience preferred
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with general computer applications
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Job Duties

  • Check patients in and out as they visit our office

  • Schedule new appointments for patients

  • Initiate triage messages for response by medical personnel when necessary
  • Coordinate referrals for patients through insurance and other physician offices
  • Take messages and correctly route incoming calls
