Airgas prides itself on fostering a strong culture of safety, innovation, sustainability, and customer success through the efforts of its 18,000 associates. As a subsidiary of Air Liquide, a global leader with presence in 60 countries and approximately 66,500 employees, Airgas benefits from a broad international network that serves more than four million customers and patients worldwide. The company empowers its employees to be proactive, share ideas, and contribute meaningfully to its ongoing success, emphasizing the importance of creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.

The Account Manager role at Airgas, based in Houston, TX, offers an exciting opportunity for candidates interested in business development within the industrial gas sector. This position focuses on managing and growing client relationships in an established territory, with a hybrid schedule that includes overnight travel. The role combines strategic account management with consultative sales, requiring a focus on sustainable growth by developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing accounts. Airgas supports its employees with competitive base pay complemented by bonus opportunities, creating incentive-driven compensation aligned with performance. Additionally, the company offers comprehensive family benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance. Employees benefit from paid parental leave, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, tuition assistance, paid holidays, vacation, and sick time. A notable advantage is the early access to benefits within 30 days of employment.

As an Account Manager for Calgaz within Airgas, you will be responsible for advancing business growth by strengthening relationships with current customers and identifying new partnerships that conform to the company's high standards of excellence. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and function as a consultative partner to integrate Airgas’s extensive product lines into customer operations, ensuring added value and alignment with customer goals. Your strategic approach will involve planning sales milestones, conducting business reviews, and proactively managing the sales cycle to support commercial objectives. The role demands strong communication skills, organizational ability, and a proactive mindset toward understanding product developments and competitive market dynamics. This is a role for someone driven by challenges and motivated by elevating client success through effective account and territory management in the dynamic Americas market, particularly within sectors such as safety, oil and gas, and research and development.

Airgas is dedicated to diversity and inclusion, valuing the unique backgrounds and perspectives that each employee brings to the workplace. The company encourages applications from all qualified individuals regardless of any protected characteristic and commits to providing reasonable accommodations throughout the hiring process.
