This position requires individuals to perform inspection duties on products and chemical cargoes, including product and chemical barges and ships as well as shore tank inventories. This role demands that the inspector has both the mental acuity and physical stamina to execute these tasks, including climbing shore tanks up to 70 feet and handling loads of approximately 50 pounds. The shift schedule operates on a 6 and 3 rotation, meaning six days on call followed by three days off, providing balanced work-life management.
