This position demands enthusiasm for culinary arts specifically in the decorating of cakes, along with skills in customer interaction, phone etiquette when taking orders, and adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards.

Beyond decorating cakes, this role involves maintaining bakery equipment, such as freezers and cold cases, ensuring proper product rotation to guarantee freshness and quality. Cake Decorators also participate in store-wide promotions and inter-departmental sales events that enhance the bakery’s visibility within the store. The position requires multitasking abilities to prioritize and complete special orders within designated timeframes for customer pickups.
