Job Requirements

Minimum 6 months experience in fresh production area
Must be 18 years of age or older
Successful completion of all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with bakery production
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
Willingness to support team and collaborate effectively
Adherence to company drug-free workplace policy

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 6 months experience in a fresh production area
Familiarity with cake decorating techniques and tools preferred
Ability to follow detailed recipes and production instructions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic proficiency with digital tools and handheld technology
Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to maintain inventory control and manage waste
Customer service experience and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies

Job Duties

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate associates on tasks and resources
Plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs
Follow recipe measurement and bakery production instructions
Use decorating tools to create flowers and lettering on bakery items
Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment
Utilize digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
Manage inventory and control shrinkage
Prepare bakery for seasonal events and special occasions
Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve member concerns
Support and inspire team members through training and mentoring
Comply with company policies, uphold ethics and integrity
Communicate progress and collaborate with coworkers and management
