Dairy Queen is a well-established and beloved restaurant brand known for its soft serve, Blizzard treats, and delicious food offerings. The franchise system consists of independent business owners who operate individual locations, separate from American Dairy Queen Corporation or International Dairy Queen, Inc. This allows each franchisee to manage their hiring, wages, hours, and other employment-related matters autonomously. The franchisee of this particular Dairy Queen will be your direct employer, making decisions that affect your employment relationship.
The role available is for a Cake Decorator, an exciting and integral position within the Dairy Queen franchise. As a Cake Decorator, you will play a vital role as a brand ambassador, professionally representing Dairy Queen through every aspect of your work. Your key responsibility will be to bring fans imagination to life by creating beautifully designed cakes. You will assemble and prepare soft serve and Blizzard cakes, apply decorations using various techniques such as icing, gels, drawings, decorating kits, airbrush, edible images, and lettering. This role requires proficiency and confidence in cake decorating tools as well as a passion for excellence and precision.

Job Duties
- Be an ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand and be professional in every aspect of performance
- Bring to life fans imagination through the art of cake decorating
- Assemble and prepare soft serve and Blizzard cakes, including decorating with icing, gel, drawings, decorating kits, air brush, edible images, and letterings
- Enthusiastically greet and welcome fans to the Dairy Queen brand
- Strive to exceed fan expectations and deliver fan first service through timely and quality service
- Quickly and accurately prepare food products following restaurant, health, and safety standards
- Answer fan questions about product ingredients and preparation
- Calmly solve fan concerns and embrace Dairy Queens service recovery standards
- Be a willing team player and maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationship with management and fellow team members
- Create and maintain a positive, safe, clean, and inviting environment for fans and team members
