SpartanNash serves a wide range of customers, including national accounts, independent and chain grocers, e-commerce retailers, U.S. military commissaries and exchanges, as well as the company's own brick-and-mortar grocery stores, pharmacies, and fuel centers.
At SpartanNash, the team is diverse and comprises a broad spectrum of roles ranging from bakery managers and order selectors to IT developers, finance executives, HR business partners, and export specialists. This diverse team is dedicated to creating braggingly happy customers by delivering superior service and high-quality products. The company prides itself on its inclusive and supportive culture, known as the People First culture, which promotes associate development, celebrates success, fosters open communication, and encourages a sense of belonging.
The bakery decorator role at SpartanNash is a vital position within the bakery department located at 1181 W Randall - Coopersville, Michigan 49404. This role involves decorating cakes and other bakery items, assisting with general bakery duties, and operating within company policies to ensure efficiency and productivity. The bakery decorator is expected to contribute positively to the store's financial performance by executing their responsibilities diligently and effectively.
Key responsibilities in this role include decorating cakes, cookies, and other bakery products based on the production schedule and customer requests. Additionally, the decorator may be involved in baking and frying duties and will be responsible for pricing, dating, wrapping, and packaging bakery goods.
