Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
at least one year of professional cooking experience or formal culinary training
physical ability to stand for long periods
ability to lift, push, and carry moderate amounts of weight
open availability including weekends, mornings, afternoons, and holidays
strong communication skills
knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Qualifications

at least one year of professional cooking experience preferably in a high-volume food service operation
good communication skills
strong knife skills
knowledge of various cooking methods
product knowledge and food identification
ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the Colleague Dining Room
preparing hot and cold meals for colleagues
stocking and replenishing buffet items
ensuring proper food temperature and quality
organizing and requisitioning kitchen supplies
answering questions related to the menu
ensuring compliance with food safety standards
