- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Must have the physical stamina to lift, push, pull, and transport moderate amounts of weight
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Ability to work in kitchen and cafeteria environments with variable temperatures, noise levels, cleaning chemicals, food odors, and active service conditions
Job Duties
- Set up, maintain, and break down the employee cafeteria and food service lines for scheduled meal periods
- Display hot and cold food items according to hotel standards and direction from culinary leadership
- Greet and serve hotel colleagues in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner
- Monitor food quality, presentation, temperature, and replenishment needs throughout service
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the cafeteria, dining room, service stations, and equipment
- Wipe down tables, counters, service areas, and dining surfaces throughout the shift
- Stock and replenish coffee, soda, condiments, silverware, glassware, china, utensils, paper goods, and other supplies as needed
