The Cafeteria Associate role offers a set schedule with 8.5 hours Monday through Thursday and 6.5 hours on Friday. The cafeteria operates from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 6:00 am to 1:30 pm on Friday, with flexibility required to work during these hours when needed. The position involves preparing and serving food within the Home Office Cafeteria and supporting catering events as requested. This role is multifunctional as associates will become cross-trained across all cafeteria positions, including griddle, drinks, cash handling, serving line, preparation, cooking, frying, baking, dishwashing, sanitation, catering, stock management, inventory, and receiving duties. This dynamic environment promises an engaging and varied daily work experience.
The ideal candidate will deliver quick, courteous customer service creating memorable moments for colleagues and guests alike. They will be responsible for daily food preparation, presentation, and service of large quantities of foods and beverages throughout the week. Additionally, timely preparation and delivery for meetings and catered events are essential responsibilities. Maintaining clean and sanitary workspaces in compliance with White Castle procedures and Department of Health regulations is a key part of this role. Management of cash and credit sales and proper inventory handling are also integral to maintaining cafeteria operations.
