The role of Cafe Team Member is essential to maintaining the high standards of our cafe9. This is a paid, in-person position with a competitive wage of $10.00 to $12.00 per hour, offering flexibility in scheduling to accommodate various availability. In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers warmly and ensures their visits are pleasant and memorable. You will prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items with precision and care, always maintaining an eye for quality and presentation.

Additionally, you will operate point-of-sale systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with integrity. Ensuring cleanliness and food safety compliance in preparation and serving areas is also critical to this position, where attention to detail ensures the well-being of both customers and team members. Beyond routine duties, you will support sales by engaging customers in conversation, suggesting menu items, and promoting any available specials or loyalty programs.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong customer service skills, excellent time management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in cafe9s or related food service settings is preferred, as is familiarity with beverage preparation techniques and POS systems.
