The role of Café Team Leader at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is central to ensuring the smooth and enjoyable operation of the café, which serves as an important amenity for visitors. This hands-on leadership position involves not only managing daily café operations but also cultivating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests. The leader will coach and motivate team members, jump in to support service during busy periods, oversee food safety and cleanliness, manage inventory and supplies, and represent the café as the Manager on Duty. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential as the leader is expected to build team morale, drive customer satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced setting.
Applicants do not need prior food and beverage experience as the focus is on leadership capabilities and a guest-first mindset. Experience in hospitality, retail, attractions, restaurants, or entertainment environments is highly valuable and transferable to this role.
