The Café Supervisor role at Urban Air Adventure Park is a critical position within the Urban Café, responsible for supporting daily operations while working closely with team members in a hands-on capacity. The Café Supervisor actively participates in food preparation and service while ensuring exceptional guest experiences through effective leadership and direct guest interaction. In this supervisory role, the individual will provide on-shift leadership by guiding team members, supporting training initiatives, assisting with scheduling and inventory management, and upholding cleanliness, safety, and food quality standards. The Café Supervisor is directly involved in food preparation, serving, and responding to guest needs, making it essential for the candidate to be customer-oriented and detail-focused.

The position requires a proactive leader who can foster a positive and collaborative working environment. Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of food and beverage or hospitality experience
  • previous leadership or shift lead experience preferred
  • food handler/servsafe certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and serve food and beverages in accordance with brand standards
  • deliver excellent guest service, including order assistance, issue resolution, and follow-up
  • ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met
  • maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards at all times
  • address and escalate guest concerns as needed
  • provide direction and support to team members during assigned shifts
  • assist with training new hires on café procedures, food preparation, and service standards
  • lead by example in punctuality, professionalism, and adherence to company policies
  • support a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating products
  • support ordering and maintaining appropriate product levels
  • execute daily operational checklists and ensure completion of required tasks
  • follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • support documentation and use of operational tools (e.g., manager logs, checklists)
  • participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
