Job Requirements

Must successfully complete training in food preparation, food service skills, and customer service procedures
1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within hospitality or food service
valid California Food Handler's Permit required
ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices
flexibility to work nights and holidays as required by business needs

Completion of food preparation, food service skills, and customer service training
1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within hospitality or food service
valid California Food Handler's Permit
experience or willingness to learn espresso and coffee preparation
excellent oral and written communication skills
ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea, to patrons
correctly customizes orders as requested
describes product details to customers in partnership with Onyx coffee
receives and processes customer payments
serves prepared baked goods including pastries
ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items
cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas
