Job Description

Urban Air Adventure Parks is a leading indoor adventure park and the largest operator of location-based entertainment venues globally. Based in Dallas, Texas, Urban Air revolutionized the adventure park industry by pioneering the concept of indoor adventure parks. This innovative company focuses on delivering exceptional entertainment experiences for families and children, encouraging them to have fun while pushing their limits and achieving more than they thought possible. Urban Air Adventure Parks are designed to provide a safe, exciting, and memorable environment where kids can explore, play, and grow in confidence. Committed to inclusivity and equal opportunity employment, Urban Air strives to maintain a welcoming and supportive workplace culture.

The role of Café Lead at Urban Air Fort Union offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced team within this innovative entertainment company. This practical, hands-on position is integral to the smooth operation of the Urban Air Café, requiring the Café Lead to oversee the shift responsibilities, ensuring that all aspects of kitchen and service area operations run efficiently. Unlike many supervisory roles, this position requires strong involvement in frontline activities such as cooking, preparing, and serving food during shifts with a friendly and approachable demeanor. The Café Lead supports team members by managing their performance and adherence to company standards and policies. This role necessitates quick thinking and the ability to work with urgency, all while maintaining excellent customer service and a positive team atmosphere.

Leadership and training duties include coaching team members on menu preparation and beverage service, demonstrating high standards of punctuality, attendance, attitude, cleanliness, and hygiene. The role also calls for involvement in deep cleaning schedules and maintaining organized café and storage areas for operational efficiency.

In the absence of the Café Manager, the Café Lead acts as the first point of contact for any guest concerns, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and professional judgment. Additionally, the Café Lead is expected to participate in staff meetings and ongoing training to ensure team alignment with Urban Air’s values and operating principles. This role offers development opportunities for candidates seeking leadership experience in the food and beverage sector within a vibrant and family-friendly environment. Urban Air values candidates who exhibit initiative, excellent interpersonal communication, and a passion for providing exemplary service in an energetic, fun-filled setting.
