The Café Lead position at Urban Air Arlington is a pivotal role that combines hands-on food service duties with leadership responsibilities within the Urban Air Café team. In addition to operational duties, the Café Lead is responsible for managing deliveries, monitoring inventory storage and rotation to reduce waste, and handling customer concerns when the Café Manager is unavailable. Training and mentoring team members to consistently deliver high-quality menu items and front-of-house services form an essential part of the daily duties.

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
- minimum of six months to one year of prior food and beverage experience, quick service and/or restaurant experience
- one year of leadership experience preferred
- must have a current ServSafe or similar food handling certification or be willing to get one within the first 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Support the proper execution of all processes, systems, and standards
- ensure all deliveries are received correctly and logged in the event the Café
- Manager is not present at the time of delivery
- maintain storage and rotation to minimize wastage
- manage the Café
- Team ensuring they always work to the expected standards
- adhere to scheduled shifts and have the willingness to stay beyond when business or circumstances dictate
- train Café
- Team in preparing the full menu and the front of house staff in preparing drinks and ready to eat foods to the consistently high standard required
- set a high standard and good example for the Café
- Team regarding punctuality, attendance, and attitude
- ensure these standards are maintained at all times

- Team regarding cleanliness and hygiene, including a regular deep clean schedule
- maintain well organized and easy to access Café
