Job Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
- minimum of six months to one year of prior food and beverage experience in quick service or restaurant environment
- one year of leadership experience preferred
- must have current ServSafe or similar food handling certification or be willing to obtain one within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Support the proper execution of all processes, systems, and standards
- ensure all deliveries are received correctly and logged in the absence of the Café Manager
- maintain storage and rotation to minimize wastage
- manage the Café Team ensuring adherence to expected standards
- adhere to scheduled shifts and stay beyond as necessary
- train the Café Team in preparing the full menu and front of house staff in preparing drinks and ready-to-eat foods
- set a high standard and serve as a role model regarding punctuality, attendance, attitude, cleanliness, and hygiene
- maintain organized and easily accessible café and storage areas
- handle guest concerns in the absence of the Café Manager
- participate in regular staff meetings and training
