Cafe Hollywood is an exciting new restaurant located on the casino floor of the prestigious Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, a landmark destination famous for its entertainment and vibrant atmosphere. As a celebration of all things Hollywood, Cafe Hollywood immerses its guests in a fun, hip environment that perfectly blends retro and modern designs. The restaurant boasts an incredible menu complemented by a chic wine bar and a popular counter that offers fresh pastries, coffee, and gelato, which serves as the hub for all take-out orders. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwasher role preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks
Job Qualifications
- Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
- Ability to obtain and appropriate the proper usage of equipment, facilities, materials, as well as personnel
- Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work
- Ability to use knives and culinary machinery
Job Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars
- Sweep and scrub floors
- Clean garbage cans with water or steam
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving
- Prepare and package individual place settings
