Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • proven passion for culinary excellence
  • knowledge and proficiency of systems, methods and processes that contribute to great execution
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • high school education or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge and proficiency of systems, methods and processes for great execution
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • high school education or equivalent
  • hospitality education such as BS or AS degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology or Management preferred
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook preferred
  • experience with UltiPro Onboarding and Recruiting, Toast POS, CrunchTime and Teamworks preferred
  • ServSafe, Allergens and ChokeSaver certifications preferred

Job Duties

  • Runs production and service according to established guidelines
  • follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards
  • completes and utilizes daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
  • tastes completed meals to ensure quality
  • trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, operation of equipment, food safety and sanitation
  • establishes and maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules
  • ensures team follows cleaning schedules
  • maintains inventory within established guidelines
  • follows company safety and sanitation policies
  • participates in departmental meetings and staff development
  • implements seasonal menu changes
